High-Temperature Processing Technology
The high-temperature processing technology as a working group of the Chair of Thermal Processing Technology deals with specific metallurgical and process engineering problems at temperatures above 1000 °C. The current focus of the working group is recycling and heat recovery processes as well as burner and industrial furnace technology. The basic motivation lies in a sustainable primary resource conservation, waste avoidance, and the increase in the energy efficiency of overall processes.
